Urgent:Keith Richards Rushed to the hospital in a critical condition
In 2023, Keith Richards has some ambitious plans. The Rolling Stones guitarist and solo bandleader gave fans something to look forward to on Wednesday, January 11, when he shared a video on social media about his intentions for the year.
“Hey everyone, we are back. In the 15-second video, Richards is seen hanging in a tropical-looking setting while wearing round shades, a green t-shirt, and a matching headband. “I am wishing you all a belated Happy New Year,” he stated. “Hopefully, we will get to meet you, and some new music is coming up. In any case, let us cross our fingers.
Although Richards did not identify the source of the music, there have been persistent rumors that this would be the band’s first new album since A Bigger Bang in 2005. Although the follow-up to the band’s 2016 covers album, Blue & Lonesome, had not yet been officially announced, guitarist Ronnie Wood reportedly told The Sun in October that the band’s first new album in almost 20 years would be released this summer and would include some drumming by the late timekeeper Charlie Watts, who passed away in August 2021 at the age of 80.
