According to Doris Day’s grandson, her manager forbade him from seeing her in her last days. The late Terry Melcher’s son Ryan Melcher claimed he just learned of his grandmother’s passing from social media and the news. Day passed away on Monday, aged 97. Melcher claimed that he had “not been allowed to see his grandmother for quite some time” as a result of his parents’ divorce.
