When Holly Marie Combs thought of Shannen Doherty on the “Charmed” rewatch podcast, she became tearful.
With “Charmed” alumni Brian Krause and Drew Fuller, Combs, 50, recorded the first episode of “The House of Halliwell” after Doherty’s passing. She sobbed as she spoke about her late friend and co-star.
Combs remarked, “That is one of the saddest parts to me is that she was really looking forward to this.” Doherty passed away on July 13 at the age of 53 following a protracted fight with illness.
