Adrian Maddox, a safety from the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB), will transfer to play for Kirby Smart and the Georgia Bulldogs, it was announced Tuesday. Originating from Conyers, Georgia, Maddox, a 6-foot-3, 200-pound redshirt sophomore, attended Heritage High School. He started his collegiate career with the Alabama State Hornets before joining the UAB Blazers, where he played in 11 games and recorded 44 total tackles, two tackles for loss, and one interception. After graduating from high school, Maddox was not ranked by 247Sports, but as a transfer, he is currently regarded as a three-star recruit.
