Urgent:David Garrett Rushed to the hospital in a critical condition David Garrett began playing the violin at the age of four and studied under a number of teachers, including Zahkar Bron and Ida Haendel. Early on, his remarkable, diverse skill was recognized: at the age of 10, child prodigy DAVID GARRETT made his stage debut, and at the age of 13, he became the youngest musician to sign with the esteemed Deutsche Grammophon. He collaborated as a child with such renowned conductors as Yehudi Menuhin, Claudio Abbado, and Zubin Mehta. He recorded all 24 of Paganini's Caprices, which are undoubtedly among the hardest violin compositions ever composed, while he was just 15 years old. He has even been hailed as "the greatest violinist of his generation" by Yehudi Menuhin. He decided to hone and expand his abilities at this particular moment in his career by enrolling at the renowned Juilliard School in New Since graduating, David GarRETT has collaborated with some of the greatest conductors in the classical world, including Andrés Orozco-Estrada, Christoph Eschenbach, Riccardo Chailly, and Zubin Mehta.
