Detroit Lions' Super Bowl Hopes Dashed With Unimpressive Performance The Detroit Lions' aspirations of making their first Super Bowl participation were dashed Saturday night at Ford Field when the underdog Washington Commanders simply outplayed them. The only NFC team that has never made it to the Super Bowl is still the Lions.
