Massive:Ohio State Makes $37.5 Million Move in Latest College Football News
The Ohio State Buckeyes have had a busy offseason since winning the national championship. Head coach Ryan Day has had to retool his coaching staff after losing three assistants in the weeks following the national title game.
After Ohio State made a significant announcement on the coach’s future, Ryan Day’s time on the hot seat seems to be a thing of the past. And it looks like Day has a new offensive coordinator.
In addition to signing Day to a new contract extension through 2031, Ohio State is also promoting assistant Brian Hartline to replace Chip Kelly, according to ESPN’s Pete Thamel and On3.com’s Pete Nakos.
Day’s current contract with Ohio State is being extended by three years, with an average of $12.5 million per season. This increases the coach’s contract by an estimated $37.5 million.
