Jane Seymour was ‘penniless’ before she landed one of her most iconic roles. 30 years…..
Jane Seymour has lived dozens of lives in the fifty years since she was rescued from obscurity to play a Bond girl opposite Roger Moore in the 1973 film “Live and Let Die.”
From playing one of the most recognizable Western characters ever to shocking audiences in “Wedding Crashers,” to her breakthrough performance as the psychic virgin Solitaire in Bond, Seymour is always changing who she is.
Seymour’s most recent character is following suit. The 73-year-old plays the main character in the Acorn TV series “Harry Wild,” a retired English professor who discovers a second career by working with the unstable kid who previously robbed her in Dublin to solve crimes.
“I adore it. It seems like a fantastic role. She says of the show, which just debuted its third season, “And I am very grateful.” “After all, who in their seventies gets their own series? Nobody.
Seymour tells Business Insider that she has not had any trouble finding roles she loves, despite the fact that many older female celebrities have stated that it is difficult to find fulfilling work as they get older.
Recalling, “That thing took off like crazy,” “I spent just two days working on it! I did it out of courtesy. Like, “Oh, I will play the mother of Lindsay Lohan.”
