The first trailer and new title for Harrison Ford’s final installment in the Indiana Jones saga, Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny, have been released.
John Rhys-Davies’s Sallah, who made a comeback in Raiders of the Lost Ark and The Last Crusade, opens the trailer for the James Mangold-directed film with a voicemail recalling him and Indiana Jones’s adventure days. “Those times have arrived and vanished,” Dr. Jones informs him.
From there, the teaser gives an idea of what is to come, with Jones and company (including Phoebe Waller-Bridge, who plays her daughter) riding horses through busy New York subway tunnels, facing Nazis atop trains, and still unsheathing his whip in an era where everyone is armed, as Jones finds out in the last seconds of the teaser.
