Maize and Blue Review found out Wednesday afternoon that Raheem Anderson, an offensive lineman for Michigan, is anticipated to go into the Transfer Portal. The graduate student participated in the 2024 season after graduating in three years.
“I want to express my gratitude to the University of Michigan for providing me with the most memorable four years of my life.” In one social media post, Anderson wrote. “After completing my redshirt junior season and graduating from the University of Michigan in May 2024, three years after enrolling, I have chosen to register my name into the transfer portal with one year remaining in my eligibility.”
In the 2021 recruiting class, Anderson was ranked 116th by Rivals and was a four-star prospect. He was recognized as the seventh-best player in the state of Michigan and the second-best center in the country. During his four seasons in Ann Arbor, the Michigan native saw little offensive line action, but he was named offensive scout team player of the week five times while playing for the Wolverines.
