Duke Blue’s playoff hopes are dashed as they lose a vital weapon at the worst possible moment.
Cooper Flagg, a player for the Duke Blue Devils and the likely first overall choice in the 2017 NBA draft, hurt his left ankle playing in Thursday’s ACC Tournament match.
Flagg was declared out for the remainder of Thursday’s game against the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets, per the ESPN broadcast. At first, Duke listed him as unlikely to return.
