Jalen Carter of Georgia had a respectable Monday night. Less than three hours after the Bulldogs’ resounding 65-7 victory over TCU, the defensive tackle announced his intention to enter the NFL Draft, earning him his second consecutive national championship.

Carter graduated from Florida’s Apopka High School as a five-star recruit. This season, he was named to the All-SEC First Team and the All-American team unanimously. He was named to the All-SEC Second Team in 2021.
He might be selected by the Chicago Bears, who are not exactly in need of a quarterback, with the first overall choice in April, according to some rumors. However, some believe that if they would rather have Alabama’s Bryce Young or Ohio State’s C.J. Stroud, they should trade Justin Fields.
