Brother receives heartfelt message from Mischa Zverev.
Mischa Zverev sent a heartfelt message to his brother Alexander, who is competing in his first-ever ATP Finals this week in London. The World No. 32 sent “Sascha” his best wishes via his official Instagram account. “Sascha” had a fantastic 2017 season, winning five titles, including the Rome and Montreal Masters 1000s.
“Even then, I knew you would become one of the world’s greatest players eventually… Mischa wrote, “I keep telling you and trusting in you.” You are currently among the greatest in the world, and I think you can do even better.
You are both my favorite player and my sibling. Every time I see you hit the tennis court, I grin because I am proud of you. Wishing you luck in London. Mischa also had a successful season. He lost to eventual champion Roger Federer in the third round of the Australian Open and Wimbledon, and he advanced to the fourth round of the US Open.
He advanced to the semifinals of Stuttgart and Metz but lost the Geneva final to Stan Wawrinka.
I knew even then that you would become one of the world’s greatest players eventually. I continued to tell you and had faith in you. You are currently among the greatest in the world, and I think you can accomplish even more.
