Announcement:Michigan football lands Jacob Washington, 4-star WR in class of 2025
Marrero, Louisiana, is the latest stop on the Michigan football recruiting train, which is currently in full swing. After making an official visit to Ann Arbor over the weekend, Jacob Washington, a four-star wide receiver in the class of 2025 from Archbishop Shaw, committed to U-M on Monday afternoon.
Following the program’s last official home recruiting weekend of the summer, Michigan has now made three commitments in a 24-hour period: four-star running back Donovan Johnson and three-star offensive lineman Kaden Strayhorn (son of former Michigan State standout and current color commentator Jason Strayhorn) committed on Sunday.
According to 247 Sports’ composite rankings, Washington, who is 6 feet 3 and 180 pounds, is ranked No. 8 among all Louisiana players and No. 320 nationally. Among other schools, Baylor, Miami, Georgia Tech, Mississippi State, and Arkansas extended offers to the No. 45 pass catcher in the incoming senior class.
