Urgent:Phil Collins Rushed to the hospital in a critical condition
As part of their current tour, Phil Collins and his Genesis colleagues performed live on Monday night in Berlin, Germany. The 71-year-old vocalist joined comrades Tony Banks and Mike Rutherford. He stayed sat on a chair the entire time, reminding concertgoers of his deteriorating health while he delighted them with his talents.
Several rock fans expressed their satisfaction at seeing Collins live despite his health issues. One Twitter user stated on Tuesday, “I am not a Genesis fan, but if I had to choose between the band with Phil Collins as the main singer and Genesis as fronted by Peter Gabriel, I am definitely going with Phil Collins.” Another user said, “Phil Collins is trending because he’s still around for us to tell him we love him.”

According to NME, the musician’s health has deteriorated recently after he sustained nerve damage from a 2007 spinal accident that damaged his vertebrae and required him to use a wheelchair on occasion. Collins talked about his son Nicholas taking over drumming responsibilities for the 2021–2022 tour during his appearance on the BBC Breakfast show in September.
