Urgent:Paulina “Pau” Rushed to the hospital in a critical condition
Paulina Villarreal, a Mexican member of the rock group The Warning, was named the winner of the “Mejor Baterista de Rock del Mundo” award, proving that the country has talented musicians that know how to fully explore all musical genres.
The recognition comes through the Drumeo Awards, which track the world’s top musicians to honor them for their musical prowess.
Paulina had about 500 competitors, only 10 of whom advanced to the round of ten. Among them were young people from the region, who would be the virtual winner based on talent such Josh Freese, Greyson Nekrutman, Brittany Bowman, and Jon Theodore.
The Warning released their first album, known as an EP, in 2015 and since then, they have drawn attention for the quality and energy they were able to impart. As a result, they have been invited to participate in various rock festivals, such as Vive Latino and Pa’l Norte, where they will undoubtedly perform in 2024.
