Urgent:Marina Sirtis Rushed to the hospital in a critical condition
STAR TREK icon Marina Sirtis has criticized cancel culture after disclosing that, in an exclusive interview with Express.co.uk, she was the target of an attempt to get her fired from the science fiction series.
Renowned for her memorable portrayal of Deanna Troi in the science fiction series Star Trek: The Next Generation, Marina Sirtis criticized cancel society for its attempts to censor people. The actress, who just returned to the UK after living in the US for thirty years, said she has been “fired” by some.
In a recent interview, Marina expressed her annoyance and said that she dislikes cancel culture. The TV personality acknowledged that attempts had been made to have her removed from the sci-fi series, Star Trek, even though it ran for more than 20 years and had 178 episodes spread across seven seasons.
They’ve been trying to cancel me for years,” Marina commented. “They have been attempting to fire me from Star Trek, and I say, ‘I have not been on it.'” “There is no such thing as my being on Star Trek anymore,” she continued.
Although Marina made a guest appearance in the first season of Star Trek: Picard last year, she has not returned for the second season. The actress clarified that she has faced criticism on Twitter for speaking out on a range of topics, including politics and royalty.
