The singers, who announced their separation in February 2014, surprised their fellow diners by showing up together on Thursday night at the Sunset Tower Hotel’s West Hollywood restaurant and canoodleing over dinner.
After they were seen enjoying a private meal at a friend’s house in Los Angeles last weekend, there were rumors that Perry, who is getting ready for the Super Bowl halftime show on February 1, and Mayer were getting back together.
However, according to one Tower Bar patron, “the entire room literally fell silent when Katy Perry and John Mayer walked in together, arm in arm.” The couple reportedly used to go to the classy restaurant while they were dating.
