Urgent:Brain May just Passed Away Recently…..
Anita Dobson has opened up about how difficult it was to take on the roles of “cleaner, cook, and carer” for her husband after his heart attack last year.
When Queen guitarist Brian May became ill during lockdown in May, Dobson feared her life would never be the same.
The former Eastenders star talked about how she handled the significant shift in their relationship and her profession during the pandemic, which caused the world to alter quickly:
“I moved from being a working actress to becoming a housekeeper, cook, and caregiver all of a sudden after my husband suffered a heart attack, sciatica, and hemorrhage.”
“I am not easily cast for this role! I did everything I could, and thank God, everything is OK now.”
Dobson says in an interview with Women’s Weekly that although it was first a “horror,” they have both survived.
“He is really considerate. “It is because of Anita that I survived,” he declares. However, it was not true what you would have witnessed behind the scenes—a menial who was so grumpy.”
“I wish I could never go back into that horror that was lockdown,” the woman remarked.
“Even when Brian began to improve, there was this terrible feeling that this was my life now.”
Thanks to Brian’s full recovery, Anita, who gained fame for her portrayal of Angie Watts, the Queen Vic landlady in Eastenders from 1985 to 1988, is now able to concentrate on her acting career.
