Trending News:2025 TE Emmett Bork Commits to Michigan State: ‘I love what they are doing’
Emmett Bork, a recently signed three-star tight end, committed to Michigan State on Monday, continuing the school’s efforts to assemble its 2025 recruiting class.Bork offers the football program four promises as of this writing, making him the second commit in as many days.
At the moment, Bork is a student at Oconomowoc High School in Wisconsin.Bork was recently offered by the Spartans on May 9.He traveled to East Lansing this past weekend and promptly arranged an unofficial visit to Michigan State.Additionally, Bork has already planned an official visit to MSU for the weekend of June 14–16.
Bork is eager to play for Michigan State’s head coach Jonathan Smith, offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach Brian Lindgren, tight ends coach and recruiting coordinator Brian Wozniak, and the rest of the staff. The two have already developed a close bond.
The fit at Michigan State was fantastic, which is why I picked them,” Bork told Spartans Illustrated.“I absolutely see myself contributing, and I love the coaching staff there and what they are doing with the program and on offense with the tight end position!”

Bork was able to talk about his fit in Michigan State’s offense, break down film, get to know the coaches better, and take a closer look at the football program’s cutting-edge facilities and the campus when he was in East Lansing.
Bork described his visit to MSU as “I got an opportunity to tour the school and sit down and meet with Coach Smith, Coach Wozniak, and Coach Lindgren.”“Watching the film, witnessing the offensive, and seeing all of the new facilities was great!”
What truly sticks out for Bork is his relationship with Wozniak (“Coach Woz”), which was one of the factors that made him feel at ease committing to the Spartans.He connects with Lindgren and Smith as well.Building those relationships is something he is looking forward to.
Bork also spent time with Michigan State’s director of player personnel/offense, Sean Levy, while he was on campus.“I believe that Coach Woz and I have a solid relationship, and I am eager to continue learning more about him, Coach Smith, and Coach Lindgren,” Bork stated.“Talking with and getting to know Coach Sean Levy was also a lot of fun!
As previously stated, Bork will make his official comeback to East Lansing around the weekend of June 14.In order to have a deeper understanding of Michigan State, the football program, the coaches, the players, and everything else, Bork is excited to return.
Regarding the impending official visit, he stated, “I am looking forward to getting to meet with the coaches more and discuss more about the offense and how I will fit into the program.”“I am also eager to explore the campus a little more and go back to the field and facilities.”
Academics are crucial to Bork off the field.His grade point average in school is 3.9.Bork stands out for his work ethic both on the field and in the weight room.
