More information regarding the health scare that necessitated postponing two of Stevie Nicks’ shows was disclosed.
Due to a leg ailment, the former Fleetwood Mac singer had to postpone two of her solo gigs in early July.
OVO Hydro, the Glasgow, Scotland venue, posted on X in the initial postponement announcement, “Due to a recent leg injury requiring a minor surgical procedure that will need a few days of recovery time, Stevie Nicks’ scheduled performances in Glasgow Saturday 6 July and Manchester Tuesday 9 July have been postponed.”
Nicks gave a performance in front of the Glasgow audience on July 24 and provided more information on the nature of the leg injury.
“I have no idea what transpired. She told the audience at the show, “I just got this odd virus, and it just went crazy,” according to Deadline.
She explained, “We want to stay here for a few days, therefore we come here days early.” It was almost two in the morning when I finally glanced at my assistant and said, ‘I think we need to go to emergency.'” She gave me a look, and I told her, “I am not kidding!” We ought to visit the hospital, in my opinion.”
According to the source, Nicks said, “And then our butler — this amazing man — throws us in his BMW Sedan, which is so great, and off we sped through the night to a hospital.”
After spending two days in the hospital, she went back to her accommodations and chose to cancel two of her performances.
She informed her supporters, “I have been fighting this for the entire thing.” “I have been fighting what started here the entire tour. The 76-year-old singer added, “And I would be damned if I was not coming back here.”
