Today marks Kate Middleton and Prince William’s 13th wedding anniversary.
With a unique glimpse inside their wedding day, Kate Middleton and Prince William are commemorating their wedding anniversary.
The Prince and Princess of Wales celebrated their 13th wedding anniversary on April 29 by releasing a never-before-seen photo from their wedding day. The caption of the photo, which was posted on the couple’s social media accounts, said, “13 years ago today!”
The black-and-white photo displayed Princess Kate and Prince William standing together, grinning, while the royal bride held her bouquet, which was primarily composed of lilies of the valley, which is Queen Elizabeth’s favorite flower.
Kate looked stunning in her white Sarah Burton for Alexander McQueen V-neck gown with lace overlay, which she wore to the Westminster Abbey church service, and in Queen Elizabeth’s Cartier Halo Tiara. Prince William, meanwhile, was wearing a different clothing from the event. The bridegroom wore the red Irish Guards tunic during their wedding; he was Colonel in Chief of the unit at the time, but Princess Kate succeeded her husband in 2022. Later, he switched to the black Blues and Royals uniform seen in the updated picture.
The new picture was credited to Millie Pilkington. The image of King Charles and Queen Camilla that was made public to commemorate their coronation’s first anniversary was recently taken by a portrait photographer. Last year, she also took birthday photos of Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis, the three children of William and Kate.
