The 32-year-old German starlet Sophia Thomalla is reportedly dating German tennis player Alexander Zverev.
4 in the world, has been juggling some personal matters for the past month after Olya Sharypova, his ex-girlfriend, continued to level allegations of domestic abuse on the German tennis player. The ATP opened an inquiry into Zverev this week in response to the allegations of domestic abuse.
“As an organization we acknowledge the need to be doing more to ensure everyone involved in professional tennis feels safe and protected,” stated Massimo Calvelli, CEO of the ATP. We will tackle this with strength thanks to the Safeguarding Report’s recommendations.
We are determined to move forward in a significant way, even if we are aware that it will not happen quickly. The ATP believed it was “responsible” to look into Zverev. “We have an obligation to respond to the serious accusations made against Alexander Zverev,” Calvelli continued.
“I have consistently supported the establishment of an ATP domestic violence policy.
In addition, I applaud the ATP’s investigation into the subject and have been pleading with them for months to launch a separate probe,” Zverev stated in a statement. “As previously said, I vehemently and unequivocally refute each and every one of these accusations.
