Breaking:Giants insider claims $7,300,000,000 franchise has opened negotiations to land Aaron Rodgers Aaron Rodgers could very well be remaining in New York for the 2025 NFL season. But not for the New York Jets. According to New York Giants insider Art Stapleton, the Giants, whose franchise is valued at $7.3 billion according to Forbes, have significant interest in the former Super Bowl winner. The Giants require a new signal-caller and are even expected to use their third overall pick in the upcoming 2025 NFL Draft on one. However, if they can fill that void with Rodgers, perhaps they'll be able to use their selection for another major need. Stapleton joined "The Pat McAfee Show" today to shed some light on the situation, indicating that the Giants have had internal discussions about what it would take to get the Green Bay Packers legend in the building. According to my understanding, they have discussed what it would take to get Aaron here with the Giants. "Now, I do not know where the numbers are, but you can not get involved with a player of the caliber of Aaron Rodgers and his resume without at least having an understanding of what you have to be in and what he is willing to do at age 41 after what he is gone through the last two years."

Breaking:Three Giants Legends Make the 60-man Seniors Cut for Hall of Fame Consideration Sixty legacy legends athletes were recently announced as having advanced in the Seniors category for the Pro Football Hall of Fame’s Class of 2025. Three of those 60 were members of the New York Giants. Anderson began his pro career with the St. Louis Cardinals (now Arizona Cardinals). He burst onto the scene after being selected as the eighth overall pick of the 1979 NFL Draft. In his NFL debut, the rookie running back contributed 193 rushing yards. He finished his rookie campaign with 1,605 rushing yards on 331 carries and earned Pro Bowl and first-team All-Pro honors, plus a spot on the 1979 NFL All-Rookie Team. Between 1979 and 1984, he had five 1,000-yard seasons (a streak that may have continued had the 1982 player’s strike not occurred). He continued to impress, but the Cardinals averaged only six wins per season during his time with the team. After eight seasons, Anderson was traded to the Giants midway through the 1986 season, where in his first two and a half years as a Giant, he didn’t record a single fumble. Named the 1989 NFL Comeback Player of the Year, Anderson, who had just three fumbles during his stint with the Giants, helped New York win two Super Bowls, XXI, and XXV, the latter of which he was named the game’s MVP. He finished his career as the eighth player in the NFL’s history to contribute 10,000 rushing yards, finishing his 14-year career with 10,273 rushing yards and 81 touchdowns. A member of New York's legendary "Big Blue Wrecking Crew," which also included fellow linebackers (and Hall of Famers) Harry Carson and Lawrence Taylor, Carl Banks was the final linebacker the Giants selected in the first round of the 1984 NFL Draft and the third overall pick. A two-time Super Bowl champion, Banks had one of his best games in Super Bowl XXI when he recorded 14 tackles with tackles for loss against John Elway and the Denver Broncos.

NFL UPDATE: Which QB Should Giants Focus On In 2025 NFL Draft? The Carolina Panthers upset the New York Giants in overtime on Sunday in Munich, Germany, in a lackluster game. The Giants fell to 2-8 after the game, although they were still ranked No. 2 overall in the current 2025 NFL Draft order. To replace Daniel Jones as quarterback, general manager Joe Schoen will most likely draft a quarterback. Throughout the college football season, Cam Ward and Shedeur Sanders have been regarded as the top two quarterbacks eligible for the draft. Sanders and Ward both had strong performances over the weekend, but the Giants may be interested in this QB prospect in the pre-draft round. Brian Daboll's scheme would be a perfect fit for Jalen Milroe of Alabama. The victory over LSU on Saturday was a bit of a resume game for Milroe. The product of Katy, Texas, completed 12 out of 18 passes for 109 yards, with no touchdowns and no interceptions. ...

Just In:Giants’ $40 Million Team Captain Identified as Most Likely Cap….

Just In:Giants’ $40 Million Team Captain Identified as Most Likely Cap Casualty According to Over the Cap, the New York Giants presently have about $43.38 million in 2025 cap space available as of January 20. Although that is a respectable starting point, $43 million may rapidly run out in NFL free agency given the Giants' demands on both sides of the football field. Only one Big Blue player made Over the Cap's list of the top 100 most likely cap victims going into the offseason, but NYG general manager Joe Schoen is likely to take into account all possible cap casualties and contract restructures over the course of the next month or two. Bobby Okereke, the defensive team captain and middle linebacker for the Giants, was given 56.3% odds of having a "bad fate" in 2025, according to Over the Cap. But his cap hit is primarily to blame for it. In 2023, Okereke inked a $40 million deal with Schoen and the Giants. Despite his respectable on-field performance, the veteran's influence has not improved the team's overall record, which is 9–25 over the last two seasons. Okereke's cap hit increases from just $6.688 million in 2024 to $14.463 million in 2025, which exacerbates the situation. In his second year with the team, he also missed five starts because of injury. ...

Congratulations:New York Giants Micheal Thomas donates $10,000 to Binghamton tackle football team Have you ever had the opportunity to meet your heroes? Students in the City of Binghamton's tackle football program, who will soon be in the fifth and sixth grades, were given this unique experience on Friday when they took a bus to East Rutherford, New Jersey, to visit MetLife Stadium, the home field of the New York Giants. However, their journey extended beyond the seats of the stadium. At halftime, the players had the opportunity to play an exhibition game of their own, meet New York Giants players, and watch them play the Chicago Bears in a preseason game. Additionally, the players were given a trip of a lifetime. Additionally, the squad received a $10,000 donation from the New York Giants Foundation to be used for new equipment. Stay or Go: Should Giants bring Tommy DeVito back for the 2025 season?

Stay or Go: Should Giants bring Tommy DeVito back for the 2025 season? Tommy DeVito has become somewhat of a cultural phenomenon in just his two seasons with the Giants. DeVito, who was born and reared in New Jersey, completed his college education at Illinois after attending Don Bosco Prep and Syracuse. DeVito, affectionately referred to by the Giants' supporters as Tommy Cutlets, has occasionally served as a spark for the offense. DeVito, who joined the organization as an undrafted free agent, has already won over fans. In the last two seasons, he has made 12 appearances, eight of which have been starts, and thrown for 11 touchdowns and four interceptions. The Giants could, however, offer DeVito a one-year, league-minimum contract now that he is an exclusive rights free agent. DeVito will be unable to negotiate with other teams if they do. In other words, the Giants may acquire ...

SHOCK!!:Surprising Giants Player Tipped for New Contract After ‘Mini Breakout’….

SHOCK!!:Surprising Giants Player Tipped for New Contract After ‘Mini Breakout’ Michael Ginnitti of Spotrac.com predicts that New York Giants wide receiver Wan'Dale Robinson might still get a lucrative contract extension prior to the 2025 NFL season, despite the fact that he has largely promised more than he has given. Ginnitti calls Robinson's 2024 season a "mini breakout." The slot receiver recorded "93 catches, for 700 yards and 3 TDs," according to Ginnitti. The 2nd Round pick, who starts a contract year in 2025, might have established himself as a worthy WR3 discussion starter for this bunch moving forward. He is firmly bound to Malik Nabers' rookie contract with a two-year, $13 million extension. It seems a bit extravagant to divide $13 million over two years for a man who might be a third wide receiver. The puzzle surrounding Robinson is reflected in the hopeful forecast. He can still be moved around formations and eat up yards after the catch, making him a versatile receiver. The issue is that throughout his first two years as a professional, those things have been more theory than actuality. Robinson ought to be among the best spot specialists in the NFL. The 5-foot-8, 185-pound animal is a mismatch on option and choice routes run between the numbers because of its small stature and inherent elusiveness. ...

Trending:Giants projected to have $60 million to spend in 2025….

Trending:Giants projected to have $60 million to spend in 2025.... The New York Giants have opened a new chapter after cutting ties with former quarterback Daniel Jones, freeing up $19 million in salary space for 2025. Jones, now with the Minnesota Vikings, will try to revive his career elsewhere, while the Giants look ahead with a significantly more flexible financial outlook. That newfound flexibility puts them in a prime position to address key weaknesses across the roster. The Giants are in a good position with $60.28 million in 2025 cap space available before contract modifications or the draft are taken into account. After deducting an expected $10 million for their rookie class, that leaves $50.28 million open. The Giants might restructure current contracts, including those of Brian Burns and Dexter Lawrence, by turning base income into guaranteed money if they decide to give themselves even more leeway. They might not have to rely on such actions, though, as a rookie quarterback is probably heading the push and Daniel Jones's $22 million dead cap is already factored into the statistics for the following season. Upgrading the cornerback position will be one of the Giants' main objectives. Although young players like Tyler Nubin, Andru Phillips, and Deonte Banks show potential, the team needs a seasoned senior leader to guide its development and anchor the secondary. Free agency will offer a number of elite alternatives, including as Byron Murphy, DJ Reed, Charvarius Ward, and Carlton Davis. It may cost up to $15 million a season to land one of these names, but the investment is essential. The entire secondary would improve if a seasoned cornerback was paired with Banks, who has the skills to bounce back from a difficult sophomore campaign and provide much-needed steadiness to a youthful, erratic group.

Bold Step:OLB Tyler Nubin Bagged a New Deal With New York Gaints.... Tyler Nubin, a second-round safety, signed his rookie contract with the Giants, the team announced on Friday. Consequently, every member of the draft class from New York is currently listed. Nubin attended Minnesota for all five of his collegiate years. Despite playing in just five games as a freshman, he went on to become a vital member of the team's secondary. Multiple interceptions were recorded in every season from 2021 to 2023 (with a career-high five this past season to go along with 53 tackles and one sack). During his time with the Golden Gophers, Nubin was named Academic All-Big Ten four times, which improved his on-field performance and raised his draft ranking. Coming off the board 47th overall, he was the first real safety to hear his name called during the 2024 draft (Eagles prospect Cooper DeJean having experience at both that position and corner). In New York, Nubin ought to have an easy route to playing time. ...

Title: Power Meets Precision: Rybakina vs Sabalenka in a Semifinal Showdown Introduction When two of the most formidable power hitters in women’s tennis collide, the result is rarely anything short of explosive. The semifinal clash between Elena Rybakina and Aryna Sabalenka promises exactly that—a high-stakes duel defined by big serves, baseline aggression, and razor-thin margins. With a place in the final on the line, this matchup is not just about skill, but about composure under pressure and the ability to seize critical moments. Player Overviews Elena Rybakina: Calm Efficiency and Lethal Serving Rybakina has established herself as one of the most efficient players on tour. Known for her smooth, almost effortless power, she rose to global prominence after winning Wimbledon Championships in 2022. Her game revolves around a dominant first serve, often producing free points or weak returns that she can quickly capitalize on. In recent seasons, Rybakina has maintained a strong presence in the latter stages of major tournaments, signaling consistency at the highest level. Her temperament is another key asset—she rarely shows emotion on court, which can make her particularly dangerous in tight situations. Aryna Sabalenka: Relentless Power and Competitive Fire Sabalenka, on the other hand, brings a more explosive and emotional brand of tennis. A Grand Slam champion at the Australian Open (2023), she has evolved significantly, especially in managing her once-erratic serve. Her raw power off both wings, particularly her forehand, allows her to dictate rallies and overwhelm opponents. What sets Sabalenka apart is her intensity. She thrives on momentum and can raise her level dramatically when she senses an opening. While her game can occasionally produce unforced errors, her improved consistency in recent years has made her one of the most feared players on tour. Tactical and Performance Analysis At its core, this matchup is a battle of controlled aggression versus relentless force. Rybakina’s serve will be one of the most decisive weapons on the court. If she lands a high percentage of first serves, she can keep points short and prevent Sabalenka from finding rhythm on return. Her flat groundstrokes, particularly off the backhand wing, allow her to redirect pace effectively and exploit any positional lapses. Sabalenka, however, will look to counter this by attacking second serves and stepping inside the baseline whenever possible. Her ability to take time away from opponents is crucial—if she can rush Rybakina into shorter swings or defensive positions, she gains the upper hand. Additionally, Sabalenka’s improved net play adds another layer to her attack, giving her more options to finish points. From a baseline perspective, both players prefer first-strike tennis, meaning rallies may be shorter than average. This increases the importance of serve and return efficiency, as well as the ability to convert break points—likely to be limited in number. Head-to-Head Context Their head-to-head record has been competitive in past meetings, though exact figures may vary depending on the timing of this matchup. Historically, matches between them have often been decided by small margins, with momentum swings playing a significant role. If precise statistics are unavailable, it is safe to say that neither player holds an overwhelming psychological advantage. Key Matchup Factors 1. First-Serve Percentage For Rybakina, this is non-negotiable. A high first-serve percentage allows her to control tempo and avoid extended rallies where Sabalenka’s power can take over. 2. Unforced Errors vs Winners Balance Sabalenka walks a fine line between dominance and overhitting. If she maintains discipline and keeps her error count in check, her aggressive style becomes a major asset. 3. Mental Resilience Under Pressure Semifinals bring added pressure, and both players have experienced high-stakes matches before. Rybakina’s calm demeanor contrasts with Sabalenka’s emotional intensity—either approach can succeed, but it will depend on who manages key moments better. 4. Return of Serve Breaking serve may prove difficult. The player who can generate even a slight edge on return—by neutralizing the first serve or attacking the second—could decide the match. 5. Surface Influence While the exact surface is unspecified, both players perform well on hard courts and grass, where their power games are most effective. If played on a slower surface, longer rallies could slightly favor Sabalenka’s physicality, though Rybakina’s precision still keeps her competitive. Conclusion: Who Has the Edge? This semifinal is as evenly matched as it gets—two elite players with similar strengths but different approaches to applying them. Rybakina’s efficiency and composure make her incredibly difficult to break down, while Sabalenka’s intensity and firepower give her the ability to take the match out of her opponent’s hands. That said, Sabalenka appears to hold a slight edge heading into this contest. Her recent improvements in consistency, combined with her ability to raise her level in big moments, suggest she may be better equipped to handle the pressure and dictate play over the course of a full match. Expect a tight, high-quality battle, potentially decided by a few key points. But if Sabalenka can strike the right balance between aggression and control, she is the more likely player to emerge victorious and book her place in the final.
