So Sad:Jamey Johnson Passed Away Recently..... Ten-time Grammy Award nominee Jamey Johnson has signed a label deal with Warner Music Nashville, and is set to release a new song, “Someday When I’m Old,” on Oct. 4 through Warner Music Nashville and his own label Big Gassed Records. Since he performed the song's demo in 2004, Chris Lindsey, Aimee Mayo, and Troy Verges' "Someday When I am Old" has remained a favorite of Johnson's. Johnson remarked, "I sang in that final demo before I started working with BNA Records." "Aimee wanted to be able to claim that she had recruited me to sing in my final demo when she contacted me back then. "Wow!" was my first reaction upon hearing the song. What a fantastic tune! In recent months, Johnson has released a number of new songs, such as "21 Guns," "Sober," "What a View," and Trudy.
