Three-star 2025 linebacker Chase Taylor, a major target from their "Victors Weekend," promised to position coach Brian Jean-Mary and crew on Monday afternoon, which was excellent news for the Wolverines. Taylor, a native of Stockbridge, Georgia, made his announcement a day after the Wolverines received two commitments from IMG Academy in Bradenton, Florida (three-star offensive lineman Kaden Strayhorn, the son of former Michigan State standout Jason Strayhorn, and four-star running back Donovan Johnson), and hours after U-M received a commitment from four-star wide receiver Jacob Washington, of Louisiana. Taylor, who is 6' 3" and 201 pounds, chose to play for the Wolverines over other schools including Georgia Tech, Clemson, Tennessee, and USC.
