Cooper Flagg, the best prospect in the 2024 recruiting class, committed to Duke earlier this week. Ngongba, who is a center and ranked No. 20 in the country by 247Sports, had offers from a number of schools, including Syracuse, UConn, Kansas State, Indiana, Kansas, Kentucky, Maryland, and Michigan. In mid-October, he had visited UConn on official business. Ngongba's dedication ensures Duke has the best recruiting class in the country. The Duke 2024 recruiting class also includes four-star guard Darren Harris and five-star forwards Isiah Evans and Kon Knueppel in addition to Ngongba and Flagg.
