Because of how damaged the world is and how frequently it seems like evil is triumphing, it is great when we can watch I am definitely here for the show if someone seeks revenge for a horrible injustice that drives the need for the law and red tape, which is frequently followed by a slap on the wrist. Eric Draven, played by Brandon Lee, is one of the most stylish revenge-seekers in movie history. This year, his picture, The Crow, celebrates its 30th anniversary with a stunning 4K release. The Crow, regrettably, is most remembered as Brandon Lee's last picture. With just a few days remaining to shoot, Lee was tragically hit with a dummy bullet and killed. The producers had to choose whether to proceed with finishing and releasing the film after completing the majority of his important scenes. Following much deliberation and with Eliza Hutton, Lee's fiancée, giving her OK, they proceeded to rewrite the film's opening and a few other scenes to accommodate Lee's death. The majority of the scenes with Eric that remained appear to have been filmed from a distance because Lee's face was digitally added in several spots. However, this was 1994, and we are a long way from de-aging Samuel L. Jackson to look thirty years younger for an entire film. The film is 102 minutes long, and I would estimate that, a little after the halfway point, there are roughly 15 minutes in which Eric seems to be brooding, playing the guitar, and avoiding the camera. Although it does not detract from the film, I do wonder if, aside from the opening flashback sequence—which was the main moment they had to work around because it was the scene being shot when Lee
