Superstar musician Helene Fischer was hurt at a concert in…
HANOVER Concert promoter Live Nation said on Monday that German celebrity vocalist Helene Fischer is doing “good under the circumstances” following her injury sustained while executing a trapeze performance during an event in Hanover.
After the daring mishap, the 38-year-old, dubbed the “Queen of Schlager music,” emerged from the stage on Sunday night with blood on her face. It was decided to postpone the concert.
At first, it was unclear exactly what kind of injury she had. Fischer received medical attention at a hospital in Hanover but was later allowed to go.
Pictures and videos posted online by concertgoers appear to show Fischer running into her partner or the trapeze bar. There is a thud that sounds muffled over the microphone.
She came in ahead of Britney Spears and Celine Dion to rank eighth on Forbes’ ranking of the highest-paid women in music worldwide in 2018.
After the summer break, Fischer’s tour will proceed as scheduled, according to a Live Nation representative.
The Hanover, New Hampshire, show on Sunday night was already the 42nd stop on the current tour, according to Live Nation. The performance at the ZAG Arena was scheduled to be the last event of the tour’s initial leg.
