For the forthcoming eighth season, Katic will be starring alongside Nathan Fillion. Showrunner David Amann has resigned, though, and the responsibilities for the upcoming season will be shared by producer and writer Terence Paul Winter of “Castle” and “The Following’s” Alexi Hawley. It is uncertain what will happen to the supporting actors in the upcoming season.
