The Canadian actress landed another starring role on Amazon Prime’s psychological thriller “Absentia,” only a year after her contentious departure from ABC’s crime series “Castle.”Katic portrays FBI agent Emily Byrne, who has been missing for six years and returns with her memory erased, only to find herself a wanted man and a murder suspect (via /Film).
With the intense performance, Katic made a victorious comeback. According to US Weekly, she was allegedly fired from “Castle” in 2016 due to lingering rumors of conflict with her co-star Nathan Fillion.
