After eight seasons on the popular ABC series Castle, Stana Katic is leaving the show due to rumors that she and co-star Nathan Fillion are still in love.

“Many people who work on the show do not like Nathan,” the person continued. It is not limited to her.
Viewers of the criminal drama series Castle were taken aback on Monday to discover that Katic had not been extended an invitation to return for a potential ninth season. In the series, her character, NYPD Captain Kate Beckett, is married to mystery writer Richard Castle, played by Fillion.
The two protagonists, it is been reported, no longer spoke to one another outside of delivery scenes after learning of Katic’s departure, and things got so bad that they had to go to couples counseling.
‘Rather then distract from what was a fantastic experience, I would simply like to say that I am very grateful to ABC for allowing me the opportunity to be a part of a greatly loved show,’ stated the 37-year-old actor in a statement.
The actress ‘had absolutely no concerns’ with Fillion, according to her representative.
With only one message on Twitter, “To the fans: thank you for your support,” Katic responded to the outpouring of support. I cherish you.
Additionally, 45-year-old Fillion spoke up about his co-star’s departure on Tuesday.
“I hope Castle continues on for many more years to come. It has been one of the biggest delights of my creative life.” He wrote, “I am grateful to Stana for being my partner for so long. I think she did a tremendous job inventing the character of Beckett, who will always be remembered as one of the best police officers on TV.”
