SHOCK!!:Kim Caldwell after Lady Vols upset UConn: Her dad, Pat Summitt ‘having a cold one’ to celebrate

In the victory, the Lady Vols (17-5) outscored the Huskies (21-3) 46-34. Tennessee played defense, limiting Paige Bueckers, a star at UConn, to 14 points on 5 for 16 shooting. Tennessee shot 45.7%, while the Huskies shot 40.3%.
Since the 2020 series renewal, the Huskies had prevailed in each of the four meetings. The two teams had not played since Summitt called off the series in 2007. The series is led by UConn, 17–10.
