Shock:Carson Beck Announces his Transfers to Miami After Leaving Georgia, Declaring for 2025 NFL Draft
Cam Ward, the quarterback for the Miami Hurricanes, has been replaced. Carson Beck, a former quarterback for Georgia, said on X that he had committed to Miami to finish his college career.
Beck accessed the transfer portal on Thursday, despite having declared for the 2025 NFL draft. He will replace Ward, who will be selected in the 2025 draft, in Miami a day later.
Beck was a two-year starter and won two national titles during his five seasons at Georgia, where he took over in 2023 and finished with a 23-3 overall record as a starter.
Despite having a better 2023 season than 2024, he was still a valuable member of the Bulldogs. In 2024, he passed for 3,485 yards, 12 interceptions, and 28 touchdowns.
