Sebastian Williams Shocks Basketball World: Decommits from Texas to Join Powerhouse Team at Auburn”
Auburn has received a commitment from Sebastian Williams-Adams, a four-star small forward in the 2025 class. The 6-foot-8 senior from Houston’s St. John’s High School picked Bruce Pearl and the Tigers over Purdue, Vanderbilt, and Oklahoma State.
The On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that takes into account all four of the main recruiting media organizations, ranks Williams as the No. 44 overall prospect in the country, the No. 11 center, and the No. 3 recruit in Texas for the 2025 cycle.
Sebastian joins three-star SG Simon Walker (No. 116) and four-star SG Kaden Magwood (No. 62 overall) as Auburn’s third commitment this cycle.
When seeing Sebastian Williams Adams, the production is what really stands out. The forward, who stands in the 6-7 range, is a downhill player with good rim touch. In order to reach the free throw line, he can absorb contact and attack from a variety of spots on the floor. I would like to see Williams Adams improve his shooting, add to his middle game, and tighten things up from beyond the arc.
