According to her representative, the “Castle” actress wed her longtime partner, Kris Brkljac, as ABC News reported.
Over the weekend, Katic, 37, married the business efficiency specialist at a private family monastery on Croatia’s Dalmatian Coast. The parents of the actress are native to the area.
The ABC has confirmed that “Castle” star Stana Katic will not return for season nine of the series, according to Deadline. Katic has played the key role of detective Kate Beckett since the thriller series’ launch, alongside fellow co-star Nathan Fillion, who acts as writer-turned-PI Rick Castle. Fillion, however, is reportedly set to return for season nine. The news follows the departure of “Castle” creator Andrew Marlowe, who left the show at the end of last season, after Alexi Hawley and Terence Paul Winter joined the team.
