With Annabelle Widra going to the transfer portal and Maddie Penta and Shelby Lowe graduating, the Tigers need to reassemble their pitching staff. In SJ Geurin, they might have discovered the first component.
Before the 2025 season, Geurin, a left-handed pitcher from Leander, Texas, stated on Saturday that she will be moving from Oklahoma to Auburn. The two-time national champion arrives to Auburn after collecting two victories in the circle and registering nine strikeouts in
Prior to joining Oklahoma, Geurin, a No. 7 pitcher in the 2022 recruiting cycle, attracted a lot of interest from prestigious schools like UCLA and Oregon. After playing behind Jordy Bahl in 2023, Kelly Maxwell, and Kierston Deal in 2024, Geurin was never given enough circle time in Norman. Geurin now has the opportunity to lead a strong program at Auburn.
The first player added to Auburn’s 2025 roster via the transfer portal is Geurin. After the season, three Tigers—Mariah Penta, Riley McNemar, and Annabelle Widra—entered the portal. As at the time of this post, neither player had found a new home.
