REPORT: Mike Hart Not Expected To Return To Michigan In 2024 Due To…

Running backs coach Mike Hart was one of the primary unanswered questions as Sherrone Moore’s coaching team came together over the past few weeks. Since joining Harbaugh’s staff in 2021, the former U-M running back has played a significant role in the football staff. Hart is not anticipated to rejoin the staff in 2024, according to a report published by the Detroit News on Friday.

According to some reports, Hart has not been a part of the program since Michigan’s 2024 national championship victory and has been battling personal problems unrelated to sports.

Whatever the reason, Sherrone Moore will have to fill another important position on his coaching staff in the days ahead as a result of Hart’s resignation.

None of those names fit Hart’s circumstances. I will just say that he took his leave for personal reasons. He may come out and talk about it if he wants to, and he deserves his privacy.
