Shock:Former LSU receiver CJ Daniels finds new home in transfer portal The transfer gateway provided a landing place for a former LSU football receiver. Hayes Fawcett of On3 claims that Daniels will play at Miami the following season by using his final year of eligibility. After four years at Liberty, he made his Tigers debut in 2024. The six-foot-two, 205-pound player caught 42 catches for 480 yards while starting at LSU. Due to a lower-body injury, he went in and Daniels caught 148 passes for 2,434 yards and 21 touchdowns throughout his five-year career. He recorded 1,067 receiving yards and 10 touchdowns in his final season at Liberty, making him a top transfer prospect. Daniels played a big role in LSU's offensive and was expected to do so again in 2024. He was a dangerous playmaker for Liberty, but in Baton Rouge, he became one of LSU's best quick game...

Breaking:Former Kansas State quarterback Will Howard has announced his intention to transfer to Ohio State.... Howard finished 12-5 as a starter for the Wildcats, helping them advance to the Pop-Tarts Bowl this past season and defeat TCU in the 2022 Big 12 title game. He has one season left of eligibility. He will take the position of Kyle McCord, who started the majority of the season for the Buckeyes but is transferring to Syracuse. He has started 27 games and thrown for 5,786 yards and 48 touchdowns in his career. Before selecting Ohio State, Howard reportedly contemplated Miami and USC in addition to declaring for the NFL draft. Troy is a 30-year radio veteran who spent almost 20 of those years in northern Colorado, where he was the "Voice of the UNC Bears" and the news and sports director at one of the nation's oldest AM stations. Troy currently hosts "KMAN's Morning News." Troy, who grew up close to Circleville and is a broadcast journalism graduate of K-State, is no stranger to Manhattan or Kansas....

Breaking:Arkansas DB transfers TJ and Tevis Metcalf commit to Michigan... Tevis Metcalf and TJ have committed to Michigan through the transfer portal. The two brothers move from Arkansas to Michigan. NFL wide receiver DK Metcalf is related to them. TJ has two years of eligibility and will be a junior the following season. Metcalf played safety, dividing his 730 snaps mostly between in the box and free safety. In addition, he played 94 cornerback snaps. Last season, he recorded three interceptions, seven pass breakups, 57 tackles, and one forced fumble. Tevis has four years of eligibility and will be a redshirt freshman. Tevis, a nickel corner, only saw 15 snaps for Arkansas in the previous campaign. Prior to their Monday commitment, the brothers recently traveled to Ann Arbor....

Shock:Former Michigan LB Joey Velazquez makes rare transfer from Michigan to OSU Joey Velazquez, a former Michigan linebacker who registered on the transfer portal in late December, made an uncommon and almost forbidden move on Monday morning when it was announced that he would be moving to Ohio State. After five years with the Wolverines, Columbus native Velazquez will continue his career with the Buckeyes. Velazquez made a fumble recovery and seven total tackles while playing football for the Michigan team. Neither in 2019 nor 2023 did he see any gameplay. In Ann Arbor, Velazquez is well-known for playing two sports. In addition, he has demonstrated himself on the baseball field, where he has had a far greater influence than on the football field.    ...

Carrie told Spartans Illustrated, "I would say it simply seems like home," when asked why he chose Michigan State.
