No 1Commitment:LB Mantrez Walker commits to Michigan's class of 2025 Great season ahead!! Michigan football secured its second verbal commitment in the class of 2025 when linebacker Mantrez Walker (Buford, GA.) revealed his promise to the Wolverines on Saturday. Last Saturday, Walker ranked Michigan, LSU, Florida, and Penn State in the top four before deciding to go with the Wolverines. On December 8, Michigan head coach Jim Harbaugh made the 6-foot-1, 215-pound player an offer. Walker then developed strong bonds with Jesse Minter, the defensive coordinator, and other Michigan staff members. Walker's ambition to become a future Wolverine was further cemented the weekend of January 21, when he made his first trip to Ann Arbor. He gives Michigan a solid early start on the defensive end of the ball in that class, joining fellow class of 2025 commit Chris Ewald, a defensive back from Chaminade-Madonna Prep in Hollywood, Fla. The Purdue Boilermakers dominated Michigan 91-64 on Friday night at Mackey Arena, and nothing went right for the team....
