Urgent:Bills sign ex-Commanders WR Curtis Samuel to 3-year, $24 million contract Over the past two days, the Buffalo Bills have placed a special emphasis on their wide receiver corps as part of their ongoing roster reorganization. ESPN's Adam Schefter reports that they are signing speedster Curtis Samuel, a former member of the Washington Commanders and Carolina Panthers. The contract is worth $24 million for three years and has the potential to be worth up to $30 million. General manager Brandon Beane of the Bills was determined to replenish the team's depth at receiver after Gabe Davis signed with the Jacksonville Jaguars in NFL free agency. There is no better way than to get back together with a former acquaintance. When the Panthers selected Samuel in the second round of the 2017 NFL Draft, Beane was in the front office.
