Ohio State Star Jeremiah Smith Shares 3-Word Message for Air Noland After Transfer….
In addition to getting ready for the 2024 College Football Playoff, the Ohio State Buckeyes are working diligently on the transfer site. Unfortunately, it looks like they might lose one of their own players. On Monday, quarterback Air Noland accessed the transfer portal, prompting Jeremiah Smith to send him a three-word message.
After committing to the Buckeyes in April 2023, Noland did not play for them during the 2024 season. Since he is still a young player and a true freshman, he decided to use the transfer portal to see if he could find a new team where he would play.
Although it might not seem like much because Noland did not play, he bonded with his teammates while he was a student at Ohio State. Smith, their standout wide receiver, sent Noland a brief note after learning of his transfer portal choice.
Smith and Noland became great friends after they both made their Ohio State debuts in the same recruiting class.
While Noland spent his time tethered to the bench, Smith has been one of the Buckeyes top offensive playmakers, as he’s hauled in 57 passes for 934 yards while scoring 11 total touchdowns.
Noland could attract some interest from quarterback-needy schools across the country because he was a four-star recruit right out of high school. Although his intention appears to be to find a new home where he can get some playing time, he is not certainly leaving just because he logged into the transfer portal.
