The Joker has made the Denver Nuggets perennial title contenders in their conference and the league in general. With the new season approaching, his best efforts would be needed if the Nuggets are to prove Jayson Tatum wrong when the 2025 NBA Finals start.
Nikola Jokic named NBA top center by former number one pick, Greg Oden
Although Nikola Jokic isn’t considered Kendrick Perkins’ best international player, another person believes otherwise. Greg Oden was asked to select his favorite big player in the league on a recent episode of the OG’s Podcast by hosts Mike Miller and Udonis Haslem. Without hesitation, he named the Big Serbian, Jokic. Aw, Jokic. He’s just like, man, he does it and he’s awesome.Joel Embiid and Anthony Davis. I still think Nikola Vucevic is great because of his solid play. Brook Lopez followed. As said by Greg Oden on the OGs podcast
While there are several excellent centers in the league right now, few, if any, can match Jokic’s track record and all-around skill set. On his best days, Jokic is a formidable opponent, and compliments from a rival are not something that happen often. The fact that the Nuggets selected him in the second round and he has distinguished himself as one of the best draft overachievers has only enhanced his standing in the league. He has averaged an amazing 20.9 points, 10.7 rebounds, and 6.9 assists in his nine seasons with the Nuggets.
