No. 1 Player in America Commits to Tennessee Vol’s Football, Over Alabama, Michigan, and Nebraska……
Following an official visit this past weekend, Douglas Utu, a four-star offensive lineman in 2025 from Las Vegas, Nevada, has committed to the Tennessee Volunteers.
Douglas Utu, an offensive lineman from Bishop Gorman High School, has officially declared his preference for Tennessee after favoring it at various stages of his recruitment process. On Monday morning, Utu made his commitment to the Vols, surpassing a number of other prominent programs on his list.
Offensive line coach Glen Elarbee has invested time in several interior offensive linemen in the 2025 cycle, with Utu being chief among them. Rounding out his interior group with the Bishop Gorman product helps cement a strong class with several elite tackle names still on the board, including Providence Day School offensive tackle David Sanders Jr.
