No. 1 Player in America Commits to Arkansas Razorback’s Football , Over Tennessee, Wisconsin, and Illinois…..
Milan, Tennessee High three-star safety rating for 2022 On Tuesday, Anthony Brown committed to the Arkansas Razorbacks over the phone with the Hogs. Among Tennessee, Wisconsin, Illinois, and Indiana, Brown chose Arkansas.
The 6-foot, 180-pound defensive back received offers from 35 D-I schools throughout his recruitment. Despite his official visits to Memphis, Indiana, and Arkansas, the Razorbacks were the most notable.
“Arkansas just felt like home,” Brown said. “Since my recruitment took off, we’ve had a relationship. Coach (Sam) Carter, he’s more than a coach. He’s like a father-figure, best friend, all in one.”
The Razorbacks’ second-year cornerbacks coach, Sam Carter, is credited with recruiting Brown as the 18th member of the 2022 class.
“That friendship is quite beneficial,” Brown stated. “When you speak with his players, they assure you that he would look after you.” He will look after you both on and off the field, and you may turn to him for support with any family matters.
Brown waited until now to commit, but for months he’s had the feeling of wanting to make things official. “Choosing from 37 schools made it harder,” Brown said. “I’m extremely excited to have it over with and to get to school.”
“It was crazy,” Brown said. “I felt like I was a Razorback already from going into the locker room after the game and being on the field before.”
