Morgan Kohan of Sullivan’s Crossing Discovers Success in the Slow…..
Halifax, Nova Scotia, has a hold on Morgan Kohan. She exclaims, “Oh my God, I love this city.” (I informed you). Kohan is presently filming season two of Sullivan’s Crossing, one of the best TV programs of the year, in Halifax. She starts listing seaside walks, pier bars, and sightseeing cruises as soon as I ask for advice, which is another way of saying what I should put on my bucket list when I *finally* visit Canada.
“It is also a good feature that you can be in a city and then [a little] outside on a trail in a tiny community,” adds Kohan. “You can choose from an endless variety of parts and pieces.”
Known for roles in films such as Transplant, Batwoman, and When Hope Calls, Kohan portrays Maggie Sullivan, a surgeon from Boston who returns to her birthplace of Sullivan’s Crossing after experiencing significant failures in her medical career. The ensemble was becoming used to working with many scripts at once as Maggie was acclimating to her new life back home in season one.
