Michigan Football Star DT Mason Graham Stuns College Football World With Decision to Flip and Join Bryce Underwood due to…..
In the past, you would only hear about what a player planned to do in the upcoming year. But when it comes to college football, we live in a different world. You do not expect any of Michigan football’s four standout players, who are all predicted to be first-round NFL draft selections, to participate in the ReliaQuest Bowl versus Alabama on December 31. We now know that one player is like that.
Mason Graham was hardly an overhyped recruit when he committed to the Wolverines. Depending on the recruiting service, he was either a low four-star or a high three-star. After three years, however, he departs Ann Arbor as the best defensive tackle in football—possibly the best Michigan has ever had.
Graham will forgo his last year of intercollegiate eligibility in favor of declaring for the NFL draft, according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter.
Since Graham is leaving, the Wolverines will probably use Trey Pierce, Ike Iwunnah, Rayshaun Benny (assuming he does not declare), and Enow Etta in the middle of the line.
