Michigan Football: Four Sophomores Primed For A Breakout Season….
The majority of the conversation as media and fans attempt to predict the Michigan Wolverines’ performance in 2024 is on the returning veteran talent, which includes players like Mason Graham, Kenneth Grant, Will Johnson, Colston Loveland, and Donovan Edwards. The Wolverines will also require strong performances from some of the team’s younger players, even though that group of players is unquestionably essential to Michigan’s chances of retaining its position as the current National Champions.
Morgan’s 2023 rookie season, in which he finished fifth on the team in receptions (22), sixth in receiving yards (204), and third in receiving touchdowns (2), might be considered his breakout season. However, it is evident to those who closely watched his performance during the previous season that he has a far greater ceiling. Roman Wilson and Cornelius Johnson, the Wolverines’ two best wide receivers, were selected in the NFL Draft during the off-season, therefore some of the younger wide receivers will need to improve significantly in 2024 if the Michigan offense is to succeed overall. Semaj Morgan can be ranked first on the list.
