Michael Jordan should issue an apology to Isiah Thomas for…
Following Michael Jordan’s criticism of the Chicago Bulls great in the documentary series The Last Dance, NBA veteran Isiah Thomas has disclosed what it would take to put his rivalry with Jordan behind him. According to The New York Post, the two-time NBA champion Detroit Pistons player recently appeared on The Draymond Green Show and voiced his complaints.
Thomas addressed Golden State Warriors star Green, saying, “This dude got on international television and called me an a***hole, somebody who’s been really good to him.” And there’s no talking until he apologizes on global television. You can’t say you’re sorry and eat dinner alone after publicly embarrassing me. Acknowledge your misinterpretation in public. I get it if that’s how you meant it. That’s fine with me.”
Jordan discussed the rumor that he was the reason Thomas was left off of the USA Olympic team in 1992 during the 2020 Last Dancing documentary series, which focused on his memories of the Bulls’ 90s dynasty. Jordan didn’t hide his affections for Thomas, even though he denied that. “The public’s response has somewhat altered his viewpoint,” stated Jordan, whose Bulls engaged in numerous postseason skirmishes with Thomas’ Bad Boy Pistons.
