During the 2022–2023 NBA season, LeBron James is expected to create history by officially surpassing Los Angeles Lakers legend Kareem Abdul–Jabbar to become the league’s all-time top scorer. Including regular-season and postseason totals, James already has a greater career point total than Abdul-Jabbar. To shatter the renowned scoring record of 38,387 points set by the great center, though, the 37-year-old needs 1,326 points. This mark has stood for more than 30 years.
